These pictures were taken as Jen
and Don were leaving July 6th for their 2006 trip aboard
the "Conflict Alert" to Pelee Island and then on to
Leamington, Ontario Canada. First we see them as
they are loading the boat. It looked like they were
planning for a long stay as the boat was sitting a
couple of inches lower in the water when they pulled
away from the dock. After filling the gas tank it was
off and away. The next boat out of the marina was Dr,
John Schafer and his wife Sue on board their
little row boat The "King of Hearts" They are good
friends of ours from Amherst. It is nice to see that Dr.
Schafer has some spare time for some fun.. The next to
last picture shows the King of Hearts" turning for Huron,
Ohio for a round of golf while the Conflict Alert is seen in the distance they
head north west to Pelee Island.
