The
Reception Party 2

Well here we are
back at the Ellis Dance studio.
As a father I believe you always
keep a watchful eye on your children to make sure no
harm comes to them. In the first 3 pictures of this show it
might be construed that the old white haired gentlemen was not
really a gentlemen after all when he asked Amie, my
daughter a special question. You have to
understand that at 68 years old, for him to make a
suggestion like that it had to be special. All he really wanted was a second dance but Amie handled her answer to him
in a most graceful way. I believe her answer was
something like no way! The real question is Who
was stepping on who's toes. By the way in case someone
else is viewing these slides we never did identify who
the old white haired one was . He kept saying "I
am a family member I am Walter Ellis the grand old
patriarch of this family" Of course no one believed him,
they figured he was just an old wedding crasher
there for a free meal and some booze.
Between the dances the bouquet was tossed, and you can see
Tracey was ready for it. When the garter was tossed, taking
no chances, Cory planned to keep his eyes closed Boy was
he surprised to find it in his hand when he opened his
eyes. Next came the ritual of the cake smear. The party
continued going downhill from there so some of the some of the younger family members had to
leave. The last pictures were taken the next day at the brunch at
the Checkoway's before we went our ways. Amie to Florida, Tom
back to Maryland and Jen and Don were off to the Amtrak
to New York City. |
