The 3 pictures below are of Tilly and Dan Popey taken in early September 2007 while Diane and I where attending my 45th High School reunion. Tilly was one of my mothers best friends, who she met while in typing school as a young woman.  Her husband Dan is pictured below and is retired from the telephone company. If you look at the picture to the left above, the center pictures are what they looked like in 1946 or so. Mother is the tall one 5' 11" and was probably holding Bob my brother. That is Dan behind mother and dad to the left. Tilly was my God Mother, and we will always remember she had a little quirk. When she sent a birthday or Christmas card she never signed it. I guess her thoughts were someone else could use the card if it were not signed. Their children are all retired except for the daughter who may be retiring soon. It is very sad to say that Tilly has been effected by Alzheimer's Disease.  Dan is doing all he can to make their lives together as loving as they can . They get out and walk when the weather is mild, but with the progression of Tilly's disease the walks are decreasing.
