This is the history of the Roehler Family founded by Ed (Gig) and Alma Roehler. They had four daughters Lillian, Dorothy, Edna, and Alma (Huntz). The daughters then married and created their own families. Lillian married Joseph Scudder and had two boys Bill and Michel.  Dorothy married Bill Purkey and had a boy named Eddie and a daughter named Doreen. Edna married Jim Lamoreaux and had 2 boys named Don and Bob. Finally Alma whom we knew as Huntz had 2 boys named Tom and Lee. I will not go further into the family tree as Doreen has written a much better history than I ever could write. Hello,
I happened to stumble upon your web site and was reading about the Roehler Family.  I would like to email a photo to Mr. Lee Hamel (Roehler Family) of my "Dairy Granny"...she was a Roehler.  My father Ray Cronenweth is deceased and my mother (89 yrs.old) doesn't remember Dairy Granny's first name...it was possibly "Annie."..not sure.  When Dairy Granny's husband died she ran the dairy and later passed it to her two sons Raymond (my grandfather) and Ed.  My grandfather, Raymond Cronenweth passed away in 1963.  My dad, Ray...his son died 1975.
I was shocked to see on your site the Roehler information and two photos  John and Hilda Cronenweth are the exact same photos I have in my possession.

I have some old photos of the house she lived in on Herman St in Troy Hill and a photo of her.  I thought that Mr. Hamel or his family may like them emailed to him.  I haven't been able to make the connection to Mr. Hamel and my Dairy Granny.  My mother was telling me that if she remembered correctly Fritz was a flyer during World War II and he was a character...liking to take risks by flying under bridges, etc..

The lady in the photo is my Dairy Granny...maiden name "Roehler."  I wish I had her first name, maybe you or Mr. Hamel could furnish that information since my mom does not remember.
 regards,

Mrs. Dyle (Cronenweth) Warren
